Find out what you are breathing.
Air sampling inside your home, performed by an IAC2 certified inspector, to look for mold and other airborne concerns.

Indoor Air Quality Testing
Florida's warm, humid climate can make indoor air a real concern. Musty smells, allergy symptoms that seem worse at home or past water damage often lead people to ask what is in their air. Testing can help answer that with real data instead of guesses. Careful sampling is the first step toward a better answer.
Caleb Charbonneau is IAC2 certified in mold and indoor air quality. He takes air samples and sends them to a laboratory for analysis. Results are explained in plain terms. Testing shows conditions at the time of sampling, and it is not a medical diagnosis. Ask any question you like along the way.

What testing can look at.
- Airborne mold spore levels
- Comparison with outdoor air samples
- Rooms with odors or visible staining
- Areas near past water damage
- Air conditioning system influence
- Humidity and moisture conditions
- Laboratory analysis of collected samples
- Plain language review of results

The right time to call.
Three situations where this inspection earns its keep.
After water damage
A leak, flood or roof problem can leave moisture behind in the house. Testing helps show whether airborne mold may be present afterward.
When you smell something musty
Persistent odors without a clear source are a common reason homeowners order air sampling, which can help look for hidden problems in the house.
Before buying or renting
Some buyers and renters want a baseline reading of the air in a home before they move in with their family.
Good to know.
Can the test tell me if I am sick because of my home?
No. Air testing measures what is in the air, not your health. If you have symptoms, talk with a doctor. Test results can be one piece of information that you and your doctor consider. Your doctor remains the right person for any health question about your symptoms.
Why is outdoor air sampled too?
Outdoor air always holds mold spores. Comparing indoor results with outside samples gives context. It helps show whether the indoor air looks different from what is normal outdoors on that day. Sampling both places on the same visit keeps the comparison fair.
Is a lab involved?
Yes. Samples are collected on site and sent to a laboratory for analysis. The lab's findings are the basis of the results you receive, and Caleb can help you understand what they mean. Ask questions about anything on the lab report that is unclear to you.
